 There are several modern day heavyweight boxers who have made a name for themselves in the sport. Some of the notable ones include:


Anthony Joshua - British boxer who is a two-time unified heavyweight champion, having held the WBA, IBF, and WBO titles. He is also a former Olympic gold medalist.


Tyson Fury - British boxer who is a former unified heavyweight champion, having held the WBA, IBF, WBO and lineal titles. 


He is known for his unorthodox fighting style and his ability to come back from adversity.


Deontay Wilder - American boxer who is a former WBC heavyweight champion. He is known for his formidable punching power and has one of the highest knockout ratios in heavyweight history.


Andy Ruiz Jr. - Mexican-American boxer who became the first boxer of Mexican descent to become heavyweight champion, he is known for his upset victory over Anthony Joshua in 2019


Oleksandr Usyk - Ukrainian boxer who is the current undisputed cruiserweight champion, and recently moved up to heavyweight. He is considered one of the most skilled and technical boxers in the division.


Dillian Whyte - British boxer who is a former British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion, known for his heavy hands and toughness.


These are just a few examples of some of the top heavyweight boxers in the sport today. 


The heavyweight division is constantly evolving and new talents are emerging all the time.
